On a mission: 2018 in review

As we are nearing the year’s end, we reflect on what an enormous 12 months it has been. This year has been an inspiring year of growth, change and major accomplishments.

Reflections on 2018

We will remember 2018 as a year of exciting and much needed growth (and a hive of related activities). Some of these are:

  • successfully developing and implementing STP – with almost 6000 development hours invested
  • 559 production environment upgrades
  • bedding down a new approach to client engagement – through regional activities and account management
  • creating our roadmaps – both product and customer experience
  • over-hauling our support department (including six new recruits and a technical lead)
  • building our executive team (appointing representatives from Solutions, Customer care and People)
  • and too many more to mention!

We heard what our community needed and whilst we still have a ways to go on our journey, are very excited and grateful for the many messages of appreciation and recognition of our improvement. Thank you and let’s continue this great work together.

We are striving for continuous improvement, innovation and being responsive to the changing needs in your communities, with the primary goal of enabling your success.

I hope you enjoy this latest edition of our newsletter, it is intended to reflect the year to come (2019) – client focussed. We have taken note of the useful ideas and suggestions and aimed for content that is rich, informative and useful for you.

Shelley’s journey with Synergetic support

Our executive team recently met with Shelley at our Key Stakeholder Forum.

We’ve been a Synergetic client for just over ten years. Whilst we were initially hesitant connecting with a company in Melbourne, the distance has not impeded the level of support we have received.   Seeing and experiencing the benefits of has enabled us to better connect in a targeted and impactful way and has provided consistency in the relationship. Thank you Tim, Chamil, Simone and Rick and the team at Synergetic for listening to, acknowledging and addressing our requirements. Changes to our Executive team

With so much positive change at Synergetic, as well as various continuous improvement activities and projects, we are pleased to announce three new members to the Executive team.

This exciting change is in line with the enormous growth seen at Synergetic throughout recent years and offers huge value; seeing a huge investment in steering the company, with enriched thought leadership and an increased drive towards customer experience excellence.

Synergetic recognises the direct correlation between a happy and healthy workforce (retaining our experts) and consistent high-quality product and service experiences for our community.

We are so pleased to have Chamil, Rosabel and Justin on the Executive team.

Rosabel brings a wealth of human resources experience, with expertise in supporting large companies where delivery of excellence to customers is key.

Rosabel has been with Synergetic for over five years and has bought an invaluable capability to translate her strengths and skills into the company, with a rich knowledge of what our people need to bring their best to our clients.

Two further executive appointments cover our solutions and customer experience space; with us welcoming Chamil Fernando (Chief Customer Officer) and Justin Zylstra (Chief Solutions Manager).

These exciting appointments are targeting our clients (both existing and new clients), with an emphasis on meeting the needs of schools, through quality product and service offerings, enabling educators to leverage technology to deliver excellence.
