To optimise the effectiveness of SYNERGETIC, we suggest the following recommendations based on the number of simultaneous connections and the server environment available.

1 Processor clock speed (GHz) is not as important as multiple cores. Additional processors will provide additional performance.
2 For performance, it is recommended to use separate physical drives each for operating system (OS), data and logs. For additional performance and disaster recovery it is recommended to use separate drive arrays. RAID 1 for OS, RAID 5 for data, RAID 1 for logs.
3 It is possible to host the web applications on the Database server however this is not recommended for performance and security.
