CEO Victorian cNumber storing and how to import using Staff Dat Import Export

In Synergetic we store the Registration number which is the teachers VIT number (vnumber) this is different to the CEO cNumber. (CEO Teachers have this unique ID in addition to their VITNumber)

We store the cNumber but it is not used in exports, it is used in a report which CEO school submit called CEO_F17 'Staff Listing report' as required.

The information is derived from Payroll Maintenance > ‘CEO PRS’tab set up specifically for leave calculations that are done by schools for CEO purposes.

The only method of getting information into the CEO PRS tab (as it is an explorer type window similar to objects) is through Human Resources module then selecting Staff Data Import/Export and importing the file obtained by the CEO

To see the export option the following flag must be set - enable System | Install | CountryCode and this value should be set as AU, typically should already be set to this.

The XML file import does not update any leave details it simply adds the information into the CEOPRS tab of the Payroll Employee record -The update of leave data related is handled through Synergetic during pays by your payroll officer..

However prior to import the XML file cNumber must be recorded against the staff member, this number is then matched against the import file to work properly - see HR Maintenance 'Other Tab' for External Registration Number.

When you print the report the cNumber the report references the information against the CEO PRS tab not the recorded External Registration Number.

The CEOVIC_F17 report prints cnumber along with other Payroll information on pays/details etc.
